Hey girls! Spring is underway, and per request, we're here with part 1 of about dressing for 2025's spring sporting events. This post will focus on the Masters Tournament and Kentucky Derby, watch out for part 2 featuring the Monaco Grand Prix and Roland-Garros!
The Masters Tournament: April 10-13
Kentucky Derby: May 3
Monaco Grand Prix: May 23-25
Roland-Garros: May 25-June 8
The Masters
The Masters is arguably golf's most prestigious event of the year. Held annually at Augusta National Golf Club, players compete on pristine fairways with their caddies (in matching white jumpsuits of course) for the famous green jacket. Take in the course's azaleas (or the azalea cocktail) and unplug for the day. Yup, the Masters is a phone-free tournament, so if you want to take pictures, bring a camera to only the practice rounds (Monday-Wednesday).

Outfits to the Masters should be:
Comfortable: You'll be doing a lot of walking, so comfort is key. Avoid restricting clothing and heels/boots.
Light: It will get hot walking around the entire day! Don't wear something too insulating, you don't want to overheat! If in doubt about weather, wear layers
Conservative-ish: Make sure skirts, dresses, or shorts are an appropriate length, and don't wear crop tops.
Our picks for the Masters:
Thursday: A striped or checkered (preferably with some green) mini dress
Friday: A light colored monochrome matching set
Saturday: A white athletic dress with a green/blue sweater tied around your neck
Sunday: A floral print 3/4 or long sleeve dress
Don't forget a hat and sunglasses!

Kentucky Derby
Dubbed the greatest two minutes in sports, the Kentucky Derby is the most iconic horse racing event of the year! It is the first race for the Triple Crown, and held annually at Churchill Downs. The entire event lasts a week, with the day of the Derby being filled with celebrities, betting, and socializing. Spectators are dressed to the nines, with elaborate hats and dresses that go all out. Watch the race with a mint julep, then see the winner draped in a blanket of roses!

Outfits to the Kentucky Derby should be:
Statement making: This is the time to go bold, especially with your hat/fascinator, the star of the show! With the event only being for one day, have no regrets with your outfit
Weather appropriate: The Derby runs rain or shine, so be prepared for the weather!
Elegant: The Derby has an elegant atmosphere, so stick to upscale attire, particularly in certain reserved seating areas
Our pick for your Derby day fit:
Wear a bright, floral mini dress with a fascinator/hat in a color featured somewhere in your dress. Opt for white block heels, and simple jewelry.
